Ok so, some of you may be wondering about the title of this one. A few days ago on my facebook status, i talked about theses two guys talking to me at the gas station and i said they were creepers. Well, some of my guy friends got a lil fired up about that so let me explain. One of my friends said, "how is a guy supposed to get a girls attention if he doesnt talk to her?" which i totally agree with that but the problem is, first of all i was alone at a gas station and the two guys that were talking to me were MUCH older than me. If they were my age, it wouldnt have been so weird, but these guys were like late 30s and with todays society, rape, kidnapping and all that bad stuff is pretty common. Usually the victims are young girls (aka girls my age) so im sorry if i have offended any of you by labeling these two men "creepers" but i would rather do that and offend you instead of not being so careful and end up on the news.

Monday: dont remember much! umm lets see, i know i worked from like 5-10ish. ummm oh! this was the day that i went an got gas and the "creepers" talked to me lol after work stopped by travs to pick up a movie, Night At The Museum 2(: love that movie!!!(: Oh yeah, one of my friends from school/soccer died :( Angelique. I have known her for a long time. We went to elementary school and jr high together. we even played GYSA soccer together. :/ so sad. so sudden. Its weird to think that shes gone :/ please keep her family and friends in your prayers!!
Tuesday: last day of takin care of the horses!! :( Jacque came with me in the morning!!! I told her to be at my house at 7:15 but no, she always has to be early and was wakin me up with a phone call at like 7!! :p oh well!! Stayed with the horses for like an hour!(: its just so fun feedin and groomin them. very relaxing(: It was nice to have some company besides the dog and horses(: lol then after that went home and did some stuff around the house. random school stuff. Then!!! I have been wanting a trash can for my room but i didnt want to buy one, so i went into the garage to see if there was anything in there that i could use. As i was scanning all the shelves, i saw something orange!! So i dug around to get it and it was my dads old water cooler that he used when he coached my soccer teams. I didnt think he would be needing it anymore, plus it was the perfect size for a trash can. my mom said it was going to look tacky. I didnt care, i was gonna prove her wrong and i sooooo did!!! I made a flower out of black ribbon and a white button to cover the water thingy and then hand painted flowers and stuff on it(: turned out waaaaaaaay better than i thought it would!(: after that, my creative juices were flowin and i wanted to keep making things!! So i found some stuffing in my moms closet and then found my bright orange Supertones shirt and decided to make a t-shirt pillow. (quick story. the shirt is one of my favorites. i got it at their concert a week before church camp. I didnt wear it at all, i was saving it for camp. well the first day i wear it, someone got black war paint on it while we were gettin ready for rec :( i was super bummed because the paint didnt come out so i had a big black stain on the front. so i still kept it and turned the stain into 2010 lol ill add a pic when its done) anyways, i started it but ran out of stuffing so its half stuffed lol so sad! then i had to get ready for work. worked from 4-9ish then came home ate some dinner and read my book till like 1am. (im reading the Hunger Games sooooo good!!!)
Wednesday: my blog is the only thing that keeps my days in order for me lol anyways, today i got to sleep in!!! slept till 9!!(: so refreshing! then ate breakfast, got ready and went to work! 12-8 today. while the kids were napping i finished my book!!(: thats pretty much all for today. but i have a problem. As you all know, im a full time nanny for an awesome family. AKA thats my job. Im tired of people sayin its not a job because it sooooo is. You guys are just jealous i have a better job than you ;p hahah anyways! hope you have a great night and rest of the week!!(:

Saturday: took care of the horses as usual. came home watched the DIY network with my dad. Made me want to build something! he went to work for a lil, so i covered some pillows with some cute orange fabric for my bed, cleaned my room again (it gets dirty fast) looked around for something i could use as a make shif garbage can for my room, played with my doggies, ate lunch with my pa(: then went to feed the horses and off to freestone for the college group/young adults hang out!! it was super fun!! volleyball and a bbq!! Plus, God totally blessed us with B-E-A-U-TIFUL weather(: then later, went to a friends house to watch a movie! got home at like 2 am lol
im going to just dive right in!!(:
Thursday: woke up eaaaaaaarly. Had to be at work by like 8ish. so not soooooo early i guess lol watched the kids till about 5:45pm then headed over to CGCC for my honors class orientation. oh-em-geee! it was sooooo boring lol but i saw Cody and Andrea there so maybe they will be in that class with me!!(: hopefully!! lol oh some stupid kid stood up and like just started to leave in the middle of one of the professors speaking about somethin important. The professor was pissed!!!! you could just tell by her tone and her facial expression. She totally called this person out and they proceded to argue with her. SERIOUSLY?!! could you be any more disrespectful?!!! she shut the student up and they ended up staying. way to make yourself look like a total..........(you can fill in the blank lol) like i already have like ZERO tolerance for people as it is and then BAM some stupid kid does that! School hasnt even started and im done. All i could think during the rest of orientation was, "and so it begins...." after that was over, came home, dad cooked an AH-MAY-ZA-ZING dinner. we had fried potatoes, bacon, and waffles (: yumm!! who doesnt love breakfast for dinner?? stayed up late readin my book. couldnt put it down till i was done readin. Now on to a new book that my mom has been trying to get me to read for like EVER!! Its called The Hunger Games. Ill let ya know how i like it!!(:
Friday: During the summer i totally lose track of days. its bad lol got to go feed the horses today(: Takes me like 10-15 min to actually feed them, yeah i stayed over there for an hour and a half lol idk what it is, but when im like with horses, nothing else matters. im away from reality. im just happy. nothing to worry about, just me God and His wonderful animals!! love it(: couldnt stay longer there cause i had to get the car back so my mom could leave for Silver City, NM. After she left, had the house to myself. Lets see what i did, i cleaned up the kitchen, cleaned my room, 
got a lil bored and decided to see what i would look like if i was emo(: lol it was awesome!!! Hence the title of my blog today, Emo-lie. Thank you Juan for coming up with that. Its awesome(: But puttin on all that eye make up took forever!!! It was funny tho because i was expectin people to be like, "woah! thats totally not you" or somethin along those lines but to my surprise, people liked it!! weird!!! My mom even liked the pictures which surprised me. I thought she was gonna say they were stupid lol hmmm after that, i made the ugliest yet most delish cake ever! We didnt really have much to make a cake with so i found one of the instant cake boxes, cherry chip, and made that. I wanted to pul chocolate pudding in the middle but we had none so i melted chocolate chips and put that on, then i found some cherry pie filling and added that on top and then put the second cake on the top. covered it with some icing which i ran out of so i had to make some more. it was pretty interesting but tasted amazing!! Thats what happens when you try and get creative with nothing to work with lol oh and we were out of vegetable oil for the cake so i used apple cider vinegar. couldnt tell the difference!!(: later, my dad came home from work early, i went and fed the horses(: then came home and my dad made dinner(: Mashed potatoes + beans + ground beef = swamp dinner!! (thats what my dad calls it) its delish!!! totally not healthy at all but sooooooooooooo good!! his dad used to make it for him growin up(: then we watched Harry potter(: the 6th one. it was soooo good!!

Sunday: got to go to church!! feels like i havent been in forEVER!! saw all my 5th an 6th grade girlies! they are so stinkin cute!!(: i did miss them! then went into service with Jacque!!! fun fun!! and after that went into highschool service. yeah havent gone to that in who knows when! it was fun(: glad i went!! We actually had worship!!! lovedddddd it!! lets see, after church I hung out with my best friend in the whole wide world!! yes yes, K-T-LYN!(: we went out to lunch to our usual spot, Arbys(: talked for a few hours there like we always do. then well, i was bored so i said we should go home but we didnt really want to so we went to the store and bought hair dye lol i made her get a color that i have done in the past that i liked, it was the reddish brown color and i picked a light ish blonde. but my hair is too dark so all it did was lighten my bangs kinda. but hers is really pretty, in the sun there is a red brown tint(: love it!! after hanging at her house for a bit, we went back to mine. watched Americas Funniest Home Videos with my parents. that was soooooo entertaining!!(: good times fooooooo sure!!!(:
Monday: slept in a wee bit!!(: then off to Starbucks with my mom to meet Katelyn and her mom!! Saw Corryn there! She made me the best drink in the world!! A green tea frap. with like mint chocolate chip stuff. DELISH!!!(: then she let me try her drink which was green tea lemonade with strawberries. also DELISH! you gotta try them(: then we went to go see Eclipse!! Oh man, soooooooooooooooo good!! way better than the first two. After the movie we alll went out to lunch at Super Salad. havent gone there in forever!! we used to go there after church all the time way back when!! :p came home for a little bit and just chilled(: then off to babysit for the Watsons(: there kids are so cute!! And very easy to babysit. I got to watch Horton Hears a Who with them. Such a good movie!! after babysittin, came home and watched tv/movies with the family(:
Tuesday: woke up after having a creepy dream!!! (dont member if it was monday morning or tuesday so im putting it under tuesday because there was less fun stuff lol) anyways, like i dont really know where i was but i was running down the street being chased by travis (cole) who was holding a knife. I was screaming for help but no one would come outside. they were just looking at me through the windows in the houses. then he threw the knife at me and it hit my calf muscle an knocked me down. so i quickly pulled it out and threw it back. i hit him in the arm. he kept coming after me so i ran and jumped the fence of some house. i was screaming like crazy!! then katelyn, jacque and Chey came out of the house laughing. travis saw them and killed katelyn. they stopped laughing. Jacque attacked him but he sliced both arms off and chey got her legs cut off. (i know!!! so creepy!!!!) then he started coming after me again. I started praying and all of a sudden, Michael the archangel appeared and totally whooped travs butt!! then he healed me and Jacque and took us into Heaven.....so weird...... after waking up and realizing it was just a dream, i started organized all my scrapbooking stuff. never knew i had so much crap!! that took forever. then did some random chores and project thingys before leavin to go nanny(: kids were so cute!! I havent seen them in like 3 weeks. Payton said he missed me(: adorable!! after nannying, went over to Travs for movie night. woo. got home about 12 somethin and then read and talked to some people on the phone till 1 am lol
Wednesday(today): got my hair cut!!!(: i love love love it!!! If you ever need someone to cut your hair, ive got the girl for you!! She did my hair for prom too(: went to a friends house so i could see what all i got to do to take care of their horses while they are on vacation. yes, i get to take care of HORSES!!!(: im soooooo excited!! I love animal sitting for this family. I get to stay as long as i want with the horses, groom them, walk them!! LOVE IT!!! its like therapy for me(: like as i was walking outta the house, they said sorry for all the work im going to have to do and i replied, "oh no, this isnt work for me" like i love this!! relaxin with Barney and Cissy is something i look forward to! Animals just get me(: lol i miss having my goat around :( thats the closest i got to having a horse! oh well, i get to at least watch the horses till next tuesday!! woot woot!!! :D after that, came home at dinner with the family. then went to the store to get some stuff for my hair. and thats all!

HoNdO 2010
Immmmm BACK!!(:
Since i havent been on here in like FOREVER!! i have decided to change my blog a wee bit. Kinda like a fresh start. Ive been so busy lately i just havent had time to blog :/ i have missed it!! So here is a quick recap of what has happened since graduation.
Graduation Party- combined it with my best friend Katelyn. was sooooooooo much fun!!
Got a Job as a nanny for an awesome family!! love them(:
enrolled at Chandler Gilbert Community College. Class starts August 23. bleh :p
painted my room! its now bright orange and FANTASTIC!!(:
Went to church summer camp for a week in San Diego, Cali. It was at Point Loma University. Best camp ever out of my four years!! my rec team, The Designer Jeans, won the championship!!! Totally awesome!!(: Made a rap at camp. Busted it out for the camp band, 330 Plan. "Yeah buddy, rollin like Jesus. Heart tuned up like a biblical genius." thats all i got lol :p
thats pretty much all the important stuff.(:
now on to the most recent! If you didnt know already, i had the opportunity to go to Honduras with a group of amazing individuals from my church. There were 13 students total and three adult leaders(: well we just got back yesterday from an amazing 2 week trip!!! and so the story begins......
Saturday July 3rd- woke up at the but crack of dawn to head to the air port. had to be there at 5am. checked in all of our bags and then the parents prayed for us and off we went to security and all the fun air port stuff! on the first plane ride, i sat by Linda, Cody, Cheyene, Katelyn and Robert. It was awesome! i got to watch the movie Invictus. (idk spelling) it was soooooo good!(: a must see! flew into Miami, Florida where we had like a 3 hour lay over. to pass the time we walked around to find food, played phase 10 and some card game called baseball. it was pretty fun! then next stop was San Pedro Sula in Honduras where we stayed the night at a hotel because we got in late and were not allowed to drive at night because its too dangerous..once settled into our rooms at the hotel, we all met up with the Leader Treks people who were in charge of the trip (Leader Treks was the organization that we went with) they were, Ryan, Jill and Brittany. had some good pizza and then went back to our rooms to sleep. My roommates were Lindsey, Jacque and Megan. Yeah we all just stayed up till 2am talking!! lol
Sunday July 4th- woke up early to start the drive to La Providencia where we would be staying while in Honduras. (its a clinic located in Siguatepeque, Honduras. It runs 9 months out of the year.) The pic is on the bus heading to LP. On the way, we stopped at a grocery store so we could shop for all of the food and cleaning supplies that we would need. Finally arrived at La Providencia. It was like a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive from the hotel. so not too bad but glad to be done traveling!! Pretty much all we did after arriving was organize sleepin ares, kitchen stuff, the schedule for the rest of the week and other important stuff. here is a run down of how our days went for the first week..

info: i was on the water/cleaning team. we were in charge of keeping people hydrated, making sure we always have a good supply of water and all the cleaning. so we made teams to clean up after all meals and all that. those teams also became the cooking teams. there were 4 teams each team did something each day whether it was cooking a meal or cleaning up after a meal.
Monday July 5th- woke up and was super tired! my team was scheduled to cook breakfast. almost fell asleep during Devos :/
not good! lol got to start on our work project. Thats kate, chey, me and tianna with the guard dogs puppies. I named my pup Fonzy(: we were building a trench in front of the bodega so that it doesnt flood every time it rains. to start, we had to dig down like two feet deep. the trench was super long!! took like two days to just finish digging. anyways, got to use a pic-ax! so much fun!! we called it "the pulverizer!" just sounded better :p another tool i got to use was what we named, the "Whale Spear" once again, it just sounded better :p it was pretty much just a spear thingy that we used to get the sides of the trench. took a break for lunch. Lunch every day for two weeks was two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, some chips and some fruit. Surprisingly, i never got tired of it but instead, i looked forward to it every day!(: After lunch, we and Trav were totally freaking out because we had like noooooooo water left to drink! so we sat down and prayed for water. and then right as we were waling up to the bodega, this truck pulls up with a bunch of gallons of water. Thank you Jesus!!(: Later on while we were working, it started to pour!!! like mucho mucho rain!!! we continued to work through the rain. Our trench started to fill up with water so we started making lil rivers along side it to direct the water away. It worked. Then me and trav just started to laugh cause God not only gave us water, he gave us tons and tons of water!!!(: it was awesome!(: I believe that God was trying to be funny :p we were all soaked!! Ryan the leader trecks dude said that it wasnt normal for it to rain that much, especially during the day. It kept raining and raining. we eventually had to stop because it got worse and then came lightening that was super close so we had to call it a day. It was raining too much so we werent able to go to the field and have our sports camp with the kids :( So some people went in and showered early. I chose to stay outside because i was soaking wet and covered in dirt lol so all the "dirty people" stayed outside under the drive way area and played a fun game called Ninja. During the game, Robert smacked me in the face lol it was on accident of course :p the pump thingy broke so there was no water for me to shower with :( so after dinner, it was still pouring so me, Shannon and Linda went outside and showered in the rain. ( we were in our bathing suits, dont worry lol) it was so refreshing!! Of course, when the pump breaks and the water is no longer working, is when all the girls have to go poop. Everyone was too embarrassed to ask Ryan, so while everyone was out in the lobby chilling, i walked up to him in front of everyone and asked how we would go about pooping. it was funny. we all then proceeded to have a every long conversation about poop. we were a very close group lol later we had team time. we first evaluate how the day went and how the team worked together and how we can go from a great team to an even better team. then we do worship, go over the days devo, then growth journal and then beads. Beads was my favorite part. they are encouragement beads. there are 4 kinds. Red leadership bead, white service bead, green compassion bead and a blue risk taking bead. everyone goes around in a circle and gives out a bead. youre only allowed to give one a night. some times its super hard to pick just one person and just one color! That night i received 2 beads. a Red leadership bead from Shannon and a white service bead from Megan(:
Tuesday July 6th- ummm clothes were still wet from the day before meaning my work shoes were disgusting! my work team for the day was me, Brittany, anthony and Lindsey(: we had to remove a pipe that was in the way of our trench. it was awesome! DUring the day, me and Lindz came up with some pretty sweet songs to sing..."Everybody was shovel digging! yahh yahh! our teams as fast as lightening! yahh yahh! we may be a little bit frightening! yahh yah! cause our shovels are fast as lightening! yahh yahh! oh oh oh ohhhhhh!" that was my favorite one we came up with(: God held off on the rain so we could go do our sports camp(: it was amazing!! i was kinda nervous because i dont really know spanish but the kids dont care. your cations speak much louder than your words. all they want is you to love on them which i am pretty darn good at doing(: The field where we had the camp was like a jungle!! So greeen!! There were cows walkin around the field. they would go through our game of soccer every now and then. interesting :p During team time that night, i realized that i have a lot to say and that no one will laugh at me or make fun of me because of it. Wednesday July 7th- super hard to wake up. fell asleep during Devos. butt busting work during the work day. VBS was awesome!!! one of the lil girls, Kelly, stuck with me the whole time. She has the prettiest eyes ive ever seen!! I miss her so much! she always made me smile! Kinda stressful day but was able to calm down and talk it out with Trav. during team time got a red leadership bead from trav and a green compassion bead from tianna(:
Thursday July 8th- got to start laying block in the trench with Jacque. very frustrating lol Work that day went by super fast!! At VBS, right as we pulled up, the kids came running to us! They all remembered our names(: totally warmed my heart(: that night i noticed my arms were getting huge from working!! then watched Jacque poked
a hot needle into roberts pinky finger nail because earlier that day, he made a sandwich with his finger in between two blocks lol so she poked it to drain the blood :p soooooooo cool!! Also, we had to push the buss out of a ditch that it got stuck in. so fun!(: Came up with different names for everyone. the girls got guy names and the guys got girl names.

Friday July 9th- working was fun! got to lay block again(: Last day for sports camp :( kelly and Anilita (idk spelling) hung around me all day(: then a lil girl with down-syndrome found me. She stayed by my side the rest of the time aotally made my day(: Went out for dinner that night. SOOOOOOO GOOD!!(: had like three banana sodas, two tostadas, an empinada, two things called gringas ( cause everything in them is white lol) sooo yummy!! Team time got a red leadership bead from robert and a green compassion bead from jacque. (:
Saturday July 10th- no work today!!!(: woke up, ate breakfast and loaded up on the buss to go to the waterfall!!!(:
did our devos on the buss. hard for me to pay attention to them. i was too distracted by the beautiful views just outside my window. Chose to do the long hike to the waterfall. So awesome!! Jacque was the first into the water lol she climbed up behind the waterfall and went into a cave. all of a sudden she started screaming and birds started flying out of the cave! it was hilarious :p the birds just kept coming and she kept screaming. when she got down, i climbed up there with kate and robert. we all took some rocks from the cave to remember it. I have mine in my bed with me at the moment(: Ate lunch. caught a tadpole and then let it go(: hiked back to the bus. stopped at a lake on the way home. people were there getting ready to do baptisms. had to kind of shove a cow out of the way of the road with the bus lol got back to La Providencia and took naps til the Holidays kids came to play. Ordered Chinese food. soooo good! kids left. team time and then sleep.
The Holidays- the missionary family that we worked with down in honduras. Israel and Holly and then there four kids, Asa is the oldest and then his two sisters Ava Wren and Chapel and then Jude there lil brother that the Holidays adopted from Honduras. such an amazing family!! Sunday July 11th- crazy beautiful day! woke up. Jacque, Shannon and Britt were sick! :( no bueno!! Jacque and Shannon stayed home from church. Church was amazing!!! hearing the kids sing brought a huge smile to my face and joy to my heart!!(: broke off into kids classes. so fun!! Tianna, Heather and Britt got sick and had to stay in the van the whole time :/ came home, ate the left over chinese food for lunch super fast then the non sick people loaded up into the bus and went to the market. bought 6 bracelets, a machete, a knife thing (its a lil smaller than the machete) 2 pairs of shoes, a honduras jersey and a super cute bag(: all for like 45 $ total!! Greg and Dennis flew in that day!!(: so excited to see them(: Started hard core cleaning. Greg had to plunge the toilet that was full of all the girls poop and vomit lol nasty!! the sick people went to bed. made mac n' cheese for dinner. it was disgusting lol played Signs with Shannon, Greg, Robert, Ryan, Megan, Jacque and Travis. then some of them went off to bed so it was just me Shannon, Robert and travis. we played Phase ten. it was sooooooooo much fun!! Shannon won. :p we were all exhausted but didnt want to go back to the "sick rooms" so we stayed up late. we were all soooo loopy. probably the funnest night ever!! robert and travis kept farting. it was so gross but funny lol we definitely grew a lil closer that night :p Shannon got scared of her reflection in the window, Robert got stuck to his chair, Travis was soooooo slow and i was just mean :p lol thought we would be funny and separated all the green beads from the bead bag and hid them :p funnest night ever(:
Monday July 12th-funnnn day!!! Everyone was still sick though. Chey, Lindsey, Tianna, Shannon, Heather, Britt, Anthony, Jordan. like everyone was down!! :/ so the healthy had to work even harder at the trench!! It started pouring just as me jacque linda and greg climbed in the back of the truck to go get some more blocks lol we were soaked!! Called it a day after it started to lightening. no water for showers. figured out our spiritual gifts during team time. My top 4 are Speaking out, Pioneering, Giving and Organizing. Had to go get more water before bed. The guards patrolling the clinic scared me!! they walk around carrying huge guns and it was pitch black in the bodega so i couldnt see them. scary!! then when we got back into the clinic, Greg and shannon scared me 3 times!!!! ugh!! i swore that i was gonna get them back..
Tuesday July 13th- total breakdown.....
Had to get up at 5:50am to make breakfast. not happy about that. only got 2 hrs of sleep total cause i couldnt fall asleep and then when i finally did, i heard one of the guards shoot their gun so then i really couldnt get back to sleep. I was completely exhausted. Got some energy gum from Greg. or else i would have been no help to the work team but instead a hindrance. my energy lasted till lunch and from there it went down down down. chugged some water. worked too hard and threw it all up. dumb idea lol after work i went to try and sleep till dinner was ready. was woken up to go get some water for the cooking team. not happy about that. had to make team #1 clean again because they didnt follow the rules. felt like a total jerk. i was physically and emotionally exhausted and i couldnt hold it in anymore so i totally broke down at dinner. i tried to keep it all in and that didnt work. Shannon talked to me, then trav and ryan talked to me and then Britt was able to calm me down. I just love her(: she went into mommy mode and sat with me, let me cry it out in front of her and then made sure that i ate something for dinner lol felt so good to let it all out.
Wednesday July 14th- last work day!! :( i had to remind the team about our action steps so with the help of Greg, i then turned that into a motivational speech to help pump up the team. i wrote my speech out so here it is..
" alright, so as a reminder, today we are going to have more faith in our leaders. To do that we are going to be encouraging, be respectful when asking clarifying questions and do things when asked the first time. I also wanted to remind you guys that this is our last day on the work site. we are going to reach the goal that the work team set for us and finish what we started today. so we need to give it our all. I dont want any of us to leave Honduras thinking that we could have given more. There will be no regrets. Lets leave our legacy as Sun Valley. Also, remember why we are doing this. Its for the lil kids up in those two houses, its for the kiddos in the school house right there that we get to say "Hola!" to at our lunch break. This isnt for us. we are aerving "the least of these" today. Member that we are a team. we love each other. I love you. So lets do work and show them who Sun Valley is!!!" (:
I have never worked so hard in my entire life!! I was covered from head to toe in dirt!! everyone was dead! but we kept on pushing til we finished!!!! It was amazing!!(: Got my second wind when Robert and Dennis brought us some coffee. I wouldnt let myself sit down during my water breaks or i would lose my momentum. Ryan pulled me aside to talk. Totally made my day. He just wanted to let me know i was doin a good job. Robert, Dennis, Jordan and Megan got sick. :( then later that night, Trav and Cody got sick. Team time. Thursday July 15th- hard core cleaning. cleaned till the clinic was cleaner than when we got there. Said our good byes to the workers at La Providencia and to the Holiday family. Then drove back to the Hotel in San Pedro Sula. :( didnt want to leave. got to the hotel, took showers. bought snacks at the mini market, ate pizza for dinner, had our last team time. encouragement circle, free time. watched glee in the hotel with Jill, Jacque, Lindz and megan and ate ice cream(: then we drew tattoos on each other till we were tired and went to bed. Friday July 16th- Only one to not get sick during the trip. yeah buddy!!!(: woke up at the butt crack of dawn to go to the air port. had to say good bye to britt and jill at the hotel :( very sad. got to the air port, went through security and all that fun stuff. flew into Miami. Went and got food with Kate, jordan, anthony, cody and linda. Rode the cool lil train thingy(: then met back with the group at our gate and played Silent Footbal. such a fun game!!! one of the guards came up and i totally thought we were going to be in trouble but he just wanted to know what the game was that we were playing.(: he was soooooo awesome!! he proceded to talk to us till our flight left. He was just so nice, and you could tell he loved to talk to people(: Flew home to Phoenix. Ran to our parents waiting for us(: so cool! Then got to go out to dinner to Red Robin with Kate and her family too!(: Got home and got out all the gifts i bought. Then me randy and Angie went out in the back yard. Angie threw avacados in the air and me and randy took turns slicing them out of the air with the machete i bought. It was awesome!!!(: then went to bed.(:
Honduras was definitely the best two weeks of my life. God is sooooo good. I am really considering becoming a missionary when im older. Im probably going to inter with a missions organization next summer(: Please keep me in your prayers. Just trying to figure out what God wants me to do exactly. I didnt want to come back from Hondo. I could have stayed there. Now that im home, i feel like something is missing from my life. :/ so please pray for me while i sort through all of this! now on to quotes from the trip!! Since i havent been on here in like FOREVER!! i have decided to change my blog a wee bit. Kinda like a fresh start. Ive been so busy lately i just havent had time to blog :/ i have missed it!! So here is a quick recap of what has happened since graduation.

Went to church summer camp for a week in San Diego, Cali. It was at Point Loma University. Best camp ever out of my four years!! my rec team, The Designer Jeans, won the championship!!! Totally awesome!!(: Made a rap at camp. Busted it out for the camp band, 330 Plan. "Yeah buddy, rollin like Jesus. Heart tuned up like a biblical genius." thats all i got lol :p

now on to the most recent! If you didnt know already, i had the opportunity to go to Honduras with a group of amazing individuals from my church. There were 13 students total and three adult leaders(: well we just got back yesterday from an amazing 2 week trip!!! and so the story begins......
Saturday July 3rd- woke up at the but crack of dawn to head to the air port. had to be there at 5am. checked in all of our bags and then the parents prayed for us and off we went to security and all the fun air port stuff! on the first plane ride, i sat by Linda, Cody, Cheyene, Katelyn and Robert. It was awesome! i got to watch the movie Invictus. (idk spelling) it was soooooo good!(: a must see! flew into Miami, Florida where we had like a 3 hour lay over. to pass the time we walked around to find food, played phase 10 and some card game called baseball. it was pretty fun! then next stop was San Pedro Sula in Honduras where we stayed the night at a hotel because we got in late and were not allowed to drive at night because its too dangerous..once settled into our rooms at the hotel, we all met up with the Leader Treks people who were in charge of the trip (Leader Treks was the organization that we went with) they were, Ryan, Jill and Brittany. had some good pizza and then went back to our rooms to sleep. My roommates were Lindsey, Jacque and Megan. Yeah we all just stayed up till 2am talking!! lol
Sunday July 4th- woke up early to start the drive to La Providencia where we would be staying while in Honduras. (its a clinic located in Siguatepeque, Honduras. It runs 9 months out of the year.) The pic is on the bus heading to LP. On the way, we stopped at a grocery store so we could shop for all of the food and cleaning supplies that we would need. Finally arrived at La Providencia. It was like a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive from the hotel. so not too bad but glad to be done traveling!! Pretty much all we did after arriving was organize sleepin ares, kitchen stuff, the schedule for the rest of the week and other important stuff. here is a run down of how our days went for the first week..6:30-7:00 Breakfast prep

info: i was on the water/cleaning team. we were in charge of keeping people hydrated, making sure we always have a good supply of water and all the cleaning. so we made teams to clean up after all meals and all that. those teams also became the cooking teams. there were 4 teams each team did something each day whether it was cooking a meal or cleaning up after a meal.
Monday July 5th- woke up and was super tired! my team was scheduled to cook breakfast. almost fell asleep during Devos :/
not good! lol got to start on our work project. Thats kate, chey, me and tianna with the guard dogs puppies. I named my pup Fonzy(: we were building a trench in front of the bodega so that it doesnt flood every time it rains. to start, we had to dig down like two feet deep. the trench was super long!! took like two days to just finish digging. anyways, got to use a pic-ax! so much fun!! we called it "the pulverizer!" just sounded better :p another tool i got to use was what we named, the "Whale Spear" once again, it just sounded better :p it was pretty much just a spear thingy that we used to get the sides of the trench. took a break for lunch. Lunch every day for two weeks was two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, some chips and some fruit. Surprisingly, i never got tired of it but instead, i looked forward to it every day!(: After lunch, we and Trav were totally freaking out because we had like noooooooo water left to drink! so we sat down and prayed for water. and then right as we were waling up to the bodega, this truck pulls up with a bunch of gallons of water. Thank you Jesus!!(: Later on while we were working, it started to pour!!! like mucho mucho rain!!! we continued to work through the rain. Our trench started to fill up with water so we started making lil rivers along side it to direct the water away. It worked. Then me and trav just started to laugh cause God not only gave us water, he gave us tons and tons of water!!!(: it was awesome!(: I believe that God was trying to be funny :p we were all soaked!! Ryan the leader trecks dude said that it wasnt normal for it to rain that much, especially during the day. It kept raining and raining. we eventually had to stop because it got worse and then came lightening that was super close so we had to call it a day. It was raining too much so we werent able to go to the field and have our sports camp with the kids :( So some people went in and showered early. I chose to stay outside because i was soaking wet and covered in dirt lol so all the "dirty people" stayed outside under the drive way area and played a fun game called Ninja. During the game, Robert smacked me in the face lol it was on accident of course :p the pump thingy broke so there was no water for me to shower with :( so after dinner, it was still pouring so me, Shannon and Linda went outside and showered in the rain. ( we were in our bathing suits, dont worry lol) it was so refreshing!! Of course, when the pump breaks and the water is no longer working, is when all the girls have to go poop. Everyone was too embarrassed to ask Ryan, so while everyone was out in the lobby chilling, i walked up to him in front of everyone and asked how we would go about pooping. it was funny. we all then proceeded to have a every long conversation about poop. we were a very close group lol later we had team time. we first evaluate how the day went and how the team worked together and how we can go from a great team to an even better team. then we do worship, go over the days devo, then growth journal and then beads. Beads was my favorite part. they are encouragement beads. there are 4 kinds. Red leadership bead, white service bead, green compassion bead and a blue risk taking bead. everyone goes around in a circle and gives out a bead. youre only allowed to give one a night. some times its super hard to pick just one person and just one color! That night i received 2 beads. a Red leadership bead from Shannon and a white service bead from Megan(:Tuesday July 6th- ummm clothes were still wet from the day before meaning my work shoes were disgusting! my work team for the day was me, Brittany, anthony and Lindsey(: we had to remove a pipe that was in the way of our trench. it was awesome! DUring the day, me and Lindz came up with some pretty sweet songs to sing..."Everybody was shovel digging! yahh yahh! our teams as fast as lightening! yahh yahh! we may be a little bit frightening! yahh yah! cause our shovels are fast as lightening! yahh yahh! oh oh oh ohhhhhh!" that was my favorite one we came up with(: God held off on the rain so we could go do our sports camp(: it was amazing!! i was kinda nervous because i dont really know spanish but the kids dont care. your cations speak much louder than your words. all they want is you to love on them which i am pretty darn good at doing(: The field where we had the camp was like a jungle!! So greeen!! There were cows walkin around the field. they would go through our game of soccer every now and then. interesting :p During team time that night, i realized that i have a lot to say and that no one will laugh at me or make fun of me because of it. The guards patrolling the clinic scared me!! they walk around carrying huge guns and it was pitch black in the bodega so i couldnt see them. scary!! then when we got back into the clinic, Greg and shannon scared me 3 times!!!! ugh!! i swore that i was gonna get them back..
Tuesday July 13th- total breakdown.....
Had to get up at 5:50am to make breakfast. not happy about that. only got 2 hrs of sleep total cause i couldnt fall asleep and then when i finally did, i heard one of the guards shoot their gun so then i really couldnt get back to sleep. I was completely exhausted. Got some energy gum from Greg. or else i would have been no help to the work team but instead a hindrance. my energy lasted till lunch and from there it went down down down. chugged some water. worked too hard and threw it all up. dumb idea lol after work i went to try and sleep till dinner was ready. was woken up to go get some water for the cooking team. not happy about that. had to make team #1 clean again because they didnt follow the rules. felt like a total jerk. i was physically and emotionally exhausted and i couldnt hold it in anymore so i totally broke down at dinner. i tried to keep it all in and that didnt work. Shannon talked to me, then trav and ryan talked to me and then Britt was able to calm me down. I just love her(: she went into mommy mode and sat with me, let me cry it out in front of her and then made sure that i ate something for dinner lol felt so good to let it all out.

Wednesday July 14th- last work day!! :( i had to remind the team about our action steps so with the help of Greg, i then turned that into a motivational speech to help pump up the team. i wrote my speech out so here it is..
" alright, so as a reminder, today we are going to have more faith in our leaders. To do that we are going to be encouraging, be respectful when asking clarifying questions and do things when asked the first time. I also wanted to remind you guys that this is our last day on the work site. we are going to reach the goal that the work team set for us and finish what we started today. so we need to give it our all. I dont want any of us to leave Honduras thinking that we could have given more. There will be no regrets. Lets leave our legacy as Sun Valley. Also, remember why we are doing this. Its for the lil kids up in those two houses, its for the kiddos in the school house right there that we get to say "Hola!" to at our lunch break. This isnt for us. we are aerving "the least of these" today. Member that we are a team. we love each other. I love you. So lets do work and show them who Sun Valley is!!!" (:
I have never worked so hard in my entire life!! I was covered from head to toe in dirt!! everyone was dead! but we kept on pushing til we finished!!!! It was amazing!!(: Got my second wind when Robert and Dennis brought us some coffee. I wouldnt let myself sit down during my water breaks or i would lose my momentum. Ryan pulled me aside to talk. Totally made my day. He just wanted to let me know i was doin a good job. Robert, Dennis, Jordan and Megan got sick. :( then later that night, Trav and Cody got sick. Team time. White service bead from kate, white service bead from anthony and a red leadership bead from heather. Before bed i totally scared greg, shannon and linda!! it was only meant for greg and shannon. linda was just an innocent bystander lol
Thursday July 15th- hard core cleaning. cleaned till the clinic was cleaner than when we got there. Said our good byes to the workers at La Providencia and to the Holiday family. Then drove back to the Hotel in San Pedro Sula. :( didnt want to leave. got to the hotel, took showers. bought snacks at the mini market, ate pizza for dinner, had our last team time. encouragement circle, free time. watched glee in the hotel with Jill, Jacque, Lindz and megan and ate ice cream(: then we drew tattoos on each other till we were tired and went to bed. Friday July 16th- Only one to not get sick during the trip. yeah buddy!!!(: woke up at the butt crack of dawn to go to the air port. had to say good bye to britt and jill at the hotel :( very sad. got to the air port, went through security and all that fun stuff. flew into Miami. Went and got food with Kate, jordan, anthony, cody and linda. Rode the cool lil train thingy(: then met back with the group at our gate and played Silent Footbal. such a fun game!!! one of the guards came up and i totally thought we were going to be in trouble but he just wanted to know what the game was that we were playing.(: he was soooooo awesome!! he proceded to talk to us till our flight left. He was just so nice, and you could tell he loved to talk to people(: Flew home to Phoenix. Ran to our parents waiting for us(: so cool! Then got to go out to dinner to Red Robin with Kate and her family too!(: Got home and got out all the gifts i bought. Then me randy and Angie went out in the back yard. Angie threw avacados in the air and me and randy took turns slicing them out of the air with the machete i bought. It was awesome!!!(: then went to bed.(:
Honduras was definitely the best two weeks of my life. God is sooooo good. I am really considering becoming a missionary when im older. Im probably going to inter with a missions organization next summer(: Please keep me in your prayers. Just trying to figure out what God wants me to do exactly. I didnt want to come back from Hondo. I could have stayed there. Now that im home, i feel like something is missing from my life. :/ so please pray for me while i sort through all of this! now on to quotes from the trip!!
